Hunt

Hunt Is a propulsive, action-packed South Korean spy thriller directed and starring Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game).

It begins in Washington D.C. in 1983 during a botched assassination attempt on the South Korean president, whose authoritarian regime has caused student uprisings and civil unrest. Intelligence has uncovered the name “Donglim,” who might be a mole in the higher-ups at the intelligence department. Kim Jung-do (Jung Woo-sung) is the KCIA Foreign unit head and Park Pyong-ho (Lee Jung-jae) is the head of the Domestic unit. Both are adversaries who end up investigating each other in a complex and deadly cat & mouse game of political intrigue.

Don’t worry about not being versed in South Korean history or having knowledge of the devious ways North Korea attempted to reunify through force during the 80s. Just go for the ride, which is filled with surprising twists and jammed with hair-raising action sequences culminating in a jaw dropping, wildly explosive finale in Bangkok.

Hunt opens in theaters and on VOD December 2nd.
